Introduction

InnerCircle+ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a private, curated dating and social connection service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you when you use the InnerCircle+ mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and limited technical data necessary to operate the app securely.

Account and profile: name, age, birthday, gender, preferences, city, bio, job title, lifestyle tags, intent answers, profile photos, and email from Sign in with Apple when you choose that sign-in method.

Identity verification: live selfie images processed on your device to confirm that your profile photos match your real appearance. See the “Face Data” section below for how this data is handled.

Location: when you grant permission, we use your location to prioritize nearby matches. We store it rounded to roughly 1 kilometer, and other members see only an approximate distance, never your exact position.

Messaging and activity: messages you send (including text, voice notes, photos, and videos), chat metadata, delivery status, typing indicators, match and like activity, blocks, and reports.

Device and service data: device identifiers needed for push notifications, authentication tokens, app version, and diagnostic logs used to maintain reliability and security.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your account and profile
• Provide curated daily introductions and mutual-match chat features
• Operate identity verification and reduce impersonation
• Prioritize geographically relevant matches when location is enabled
• Deliver push notifications for messages and important account events
• Enforce community standards, including content filtering, blocking, and reporting
• Respond to support requests and legal obligations
• Improve safety, performance, and product quality

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising or data brokerage.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

With other members: your profile information and photos are visible to other verified members according to app design. Messages are shared only with conversation participants.

With service providers: we use trusted infrastructure partners (for example, cloud hosting, file storage, authentication, and push notification providers) that process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

For legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, to protect users and the public, to investigate abuse, or to enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not share verification selfies with other members.

Web Sign-In and Payments

If you join InnerCircle+ on innercircleplus.app, you sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication, the same account system the app uses, and we receive your account identifier, name and email address from the provider you choose.

Web payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your email address, the plan you chose and the payment status so we can attach your membership to your account. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page and are never sent to or stored on our servers. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the information you give it.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Firebase may store a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in.

Data Security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and abuse-prevention systems.

Messages, voice notes, photos, and videos are stored on our servers so they can be delivered to your match. Access is restricted to the two members of the conversation in the app. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID credentials.

Face Data

InnerCircle+ uses Apple’s on-device Vision framework during identity verification to compare a live selfie with your profile photos. This process involves temporary analysis of facial geometry and image features solely to determine whether the photos appear to depict the same person.

Face data is not retained. We do not store verification selfies, facial geometry, biometric templates, or raw face-analysis data on our servers or on your device after verification completes. The comparison runs in memory on your device and the selfie image is discarded immediately when the check finishes—typically within seconds.

Why face data is processed: we process face data only for a one-time identity verification check to reduce impersonation and maintain trust in our curated community. This is a trust-and-safety measure, not advertising or profiling.

How long face data is stored: face data is not stored beyond the momentary on-device verification step described above. We do not retain face data indefinitely or for any ongoing purpose. After verification, we may store only a non-biometric result such as a verified/unverified status flag tied to your account.

We do not share verification selfies or face data with other members or third parties for marketing.

Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active and for a limited period afterward as needed for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and safety investigations.

When you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile, photos, likes, matches, messages, and shared media. Safety reports you made or received may be kept for a limited period to investigate abuse, as permitted by law.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

In the app you can: update profile details, manage photos, hide your profile from new introductions, turn off read receipts and message previews, block users, report concerns, and delete your account from Profile settings.

Children

InnerCircle+ is intended only for adults aged 20 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 20. If we learn that a minor has provided information, we will delete the account and associated data.

International Users

If you use the Service from outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version in the app and update the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
